Real Estate Agent From Norwalk Faces Sentencing For Fraud
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A real estate agent from Norwalk is facing sentencing for her role in a mortgage fraud scheme.Anna McElaney is scheduled to be sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court in Bridgeport. She pleaded guilty last year to bank fraud stemming from her involvement in a short sale scheme.
A short sale involves a lender agreeing to accept less than the amount owed on the debt.
